Specialist... how?

Post by WhiteKnight »

Some of you guy claim to be a specialist or a hacker, but I don't see how. All you do is telling people to look some where else, but don't even attempt to help out or submit any hacking details. Also some of the wannabe hacker seems to have enough willpower, but never seems to receive help.

If I'm mistaken then prove it.

Please and thank you.

Second That

Post by Helleporter »

I agree. Throughout the forums I've only seen people vaguely replying questions.
Most of the replies are like "Go google a crack" or "Go learn on your own"
Not much of an active hacking discussion is there?

I don't know if I'm bad at sharing info. i try to share most of the info I got, though.

But I think that all those "help to hack friendz mailz, plz" makes us drop our patiance towards the noobs. it's not that I'm professional, but even I am tired of all those almost idiotic questions.
If someone gives me a question about computers in general I would gladly share all info I've got. But to help a noob to "hax some1" is just rediculus.

If you were not so lazy asses, than you could find out, that there can't be any hacking without the proper knowledge... no one's gonna teach you, because learning it takes thousands of hours... You want become hackers in a few days, you will have to learn a lot, for a few years, spending all this time in front of computer, and no playing WOW or CS, not attempting to hack sites from your "shitlists" with nmap and "hacking programs", but learning programming...
Hacking itself is not about security... Hacking is actually an art of programming... Ability to create your own software, to modify any software you need (that's why linux is better... not because there are some dumb tools (which are available for windows too), but because it is opensource... it's source code (C,C++, some other languages) is freely available...

But you want to become hackers, who will be able to break security systems... Let's say you want to "hack" (actually, crack) something, let's say remote system...

(if you are not dumb asshole, you would google for highlighted items)

You find out information about that system - here you need knowledge of networking, at least, TCP/IP, and operating system... Linux, most popular server system, is definitely worth learning...
After this, you are gonna need knowledge of programming languages - good knowledge... C, C++, Assembly - is definitely worth learning.
If you are interested in web applications "hacking", then you, undoubtly, need knowledge of PHP, SQL, Javascript...

Knowing all mentioned stuff, you'll know how these systems work...
Only after this, discussion about blackhat hacking (security hacking, whatever you call it) would make sense.

For example, very effective way to put the server down, is to create a botnet... network of [infected] computers, that would trigger DoS attack at certain time... Now... Without knowledge of programming and networking, how are you going to do that?? How would you infect all those machines?? How would you control them?? Even if you know basics of networking... How would you control them anonymously?? You would like to go to jail?? Do you know, that it's quite simple to fake IP address, knowing what's the difference between TCP and UDP protocols??

There's a simple test... If you pass it, you have a chances to become a hacker... If you fail, I think you can simply forget about it...
The test is: read the following text, from the very beginning, to the very end... I think it explains everything, the newbie should know...

Then what happen to the poem:

To follow the path:
look to the master,
follow the master,
walk with the master,
see through the master,
become the master.

Referenced by you, http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/hacker-howto.html

Although the document seems to rise a good points in basic of hacking general knowledge. I am a bit concern about if we DO see someone who have some potential then we should give them a chance to become a hacker by teaching them ourselves.

I tried to help them out into Microsoft Windows operating system for their basic hacking techniques to develop on software and websites. Once they do the basic hacking techniques then they can move on to Linux, they may need to get used to it after a while.

I will like to answer your questions:

Fake IP address usually used a proxy that is prefer to a server that bridge the packets from source IP to destination IP. But source and destination cannot get each other IP through proxy, unless otherwise.

TCP and UDP have different standard by reliability, orders, and size(lightweight and heavyweight.)

TCP and UDP aren't the only protocol there is.

Reference of protocols

 really this was the most stupid i ever seen..
you dont just learn to hack like "POFF" first go learn.. python/java/ c++ then come back when you understund that hacking isnt something easy to learn on a hour!

Actually I did them pretty quickly and learn them very quickly. I managed to hack throughout local area network pretty easily. I first learn C# and then develop my skill in C++ and finally managed to program in C++ effectively. But C# still similar to C++ and does a fast result also.

Now if you're going to disagree my statement then don't insult me, but tell me what you don't disagree on. Please and thank you.

Why don't we give these noobs that we are talking about a chance to become the master?
We just think a little bit more on how everyone else can grow the whole society will grow!
Lets teach them instead of telling them that they have no chance to understand the filosofy of hacking.

Information should be free for everyone! Lets give them a master!

OKay, teach them... Teach them all necessary programming languages, networking, operating systems... Tell them what to do step-by-step, key-by-key... And, maybe, you'll understand what are the problems here...
