Outer Space

Is some knowledge required to solve the Outer Space challenge?
Or is it solvable purely technically?

Thank you for the reply.
I think I can see his face, but I don't know who he is. Hmm...

the image is so dark but making it lighter just makes the colors worse

@tails: If you see his face, you'll definitely know who he is, don't worry...

Wow, I can't believe that some day tails would have problems in some challenge (SCNR  ). But I have to admit that I also just guessed the solution. Did the others apply some processing to the image?

I did it with CTRL-M (in PS3, don't know, whether this is the same in other versions)

ctrl-m is gradationcurve in my version, so you just improved the image, you didnt reconstruct it? is that even possible? i think you somehow have to combine the lines of the image, since it's "too tall".

In mine too! And believe me, i'm not a PS expert, so i just played around with the features and i got the solution only with CTRL-M, 'cuz after every other failed attempt i got back to the original picture.

Sorry Guys,

but it is not as hard as you think! There ist no need to use any tools. But if it helps - why not.

Only bits, bytes and Text are the "tools" you need.

Happy challenging :)

Broker, i tried changing the chunks, didn't do anything (which is kinda strange)

edit: solved, PS helped, only made it a bit clearer, but easy to recognize if you know him.

adum: wtf did you do to this image, write your answer in the solution forum please.

Take a look at the Pixels - programmatically...

@m!nus: adum did not change the image. It is correct and has to be trasformed - not modified.

Not easy to give hints without showing the solution...
