I've become very intressted in AI:s (artificial intelligences) recently.
Does anyone know where I can download and test a "self learning AI" (not those primitive chat-bots, then)?
Or does anyone know where I can find out how advanced AI:s are programmed?
It's a pretty complex matter, and even though I'm unable to program at that level it would be intressting to know about the basics in "intelligent" AI-programming.
(I don't even know how to code an analyzer that would be useful in an AI-structure.)
Anyone who know about self-learning AI:s?

i would think it's with hundreds of loops nested within each other, constantly checking/comparing different values. the person coding it would need to think of almost everything while making it. it sounds like a really cool idea though, I'll look into it a bit more myself i think
*EDIT* looked into it a bit, and I saw something on google about it, try googling self learning AI or S.A.I. I figure the first step would be to teach the program a language, then teach some contextual meanings, and appropriate responses to questions.
truly, it all comes down to what you want this AI to do for you.
hope I've helped in some small way

I have been to several strong AI (my username is a reference to strong AI) conventions (The Singularity Summit). You won't really learn anything unless you dig much deeper though, I have put it off for now until I get more experience under my belt

Not a specific AI, but just a generic term. Try http://www.agiri.org/ to learn more about strong AI
