I'm currently working here with an quite old Fujitsu Siemens notebook:
Pentium III, 750 MHz, 128 MB RAM, running Gentoo Linux with the Awesome window manager.

It's not much but it's enough for me - it was a great surprise that Firefox was even starting, I thought it would be impossible with that amount of RAM.

A Compaq miditower with Compaq power supply
( i burned the motherboard and blew the power supply ;) and now only the box is Compaq)

Windows xp sp3
P4 2,3Ghz 25% overclock
1 Gb ram

It does its job very well for me.. :)
