Yes...many big companies hire hackers (good ones) to keep the other bad hackers out. to beat the hackers at their own games. most times they arent called hackers...they are the IT technicians...but they have the mindframes of hackers so they know exactly what a hacker would do and why...and whats their plan B if they the bad hackers have one.

the problem is that the bad hackers are always one step ahead of the good ones. so you have to be actively be a bad one to be a true good one. complicated i know...but its true. some technicians are DUMB. so ya. :P

it techs make like average 35,000/year = not a good profession. yet thats pretty good as a college job. i mean you can start being a programmer at 40,000 lol average 60-70K. or being younger, you could just be the community computer specialist. that could be for anything and you can charge up to 20-25/hr which is pretty good for a teen job. and dothackers right, a bunch of people on this site could outsmart a lot of techs out there. i've outsmarted my school techy all the time...yet he's caught me twice...but luckily he doesnt care lol.
