Advice for newbie

Post by Shikado32 »

Hi, im a complete noob in hacking and programming. I just started off and now learning java mainly. As a newbie, i just want some direction pointing, like what are the hacking softwares i should check out to get more feel into hacking? And (suggestion) what are the interesting sites that show hacking-related codes? and ebook suggestion too if any? :) thank you. i think this topic would be useful for all newbies here.

What exactly do you mean by hacking? Breaking into computer systems? That is not the main focus here on hacker.org. There are just a handful of challenges directly related to this type of hacking, compared to over 200 others which are not.

To this day I still recommend to newbies to do the challenges on this very website... Two of my friends now have six figure incomes thanks to the help of this website as a tutorial guide.

But like AMindForeverVoyaging said, this isn't the place to go for network penetration stuff.

Or rather: You have to hack to become a hacker.
