I looked at the music file. I tried seeing the beats in Audactiy. I can't seem to find a guide for solving the numbers of the phone. I also tried counting the number of times the beeps went. So i'm taking three beeps as the number 3. Am I doing this right? Please help.

Looking at the given file in an audio editor is pretty much the right idea. The possible values for the digits are between 0 and 9. How would you encode a zero? Hint: You can't do it with zero pulses

Hmmm. Maybe I did this wrong. I tried counting the pulses with Audacity. Well I will try again with that.

I counted the pulses in Audacity and I also did what AMindForeverVoyaging wanted to say, i am pretty sure I have the solution, but it is not accepted as the solution. Any suggestions?

Man, this one took me forever, but after I got it I felt so dumb. I saved the link for the mp3 and listened to it in Audacity, and then it took some thinking to imagine how they would make a 0 in phone beeps. Thanks AMindForeverVoyaging!
