How to decrypt a file...

Hey ! can anybody tell... me how to decrypt a word.. and ppt file... though the user who encrypt that file is deleted... coz system is crashed... and i didn't backup the encryptin key...

Hello, humm maybe if you specify someone can help you... First what is the type of encryption? The format of the encrypted key (if that exists). Last but not least the OS... Oh and the error... My experience is that no one is a magician here or psychic... If we were, we would be rich by now...

if the file was actually encrypted with an asymmetric key, and you lost the key, you're basically hosed. That is the point of encryption.

Now if you used MS Word's "lock this file" option, or whatever they have these days, that's a different story, and someone well versed in MS Office could probably help you. You might also have some luck searching thepiratebay (or your torrent site of choice) for "crack ms word passwords" or something similar.
