Too Many Digits

Is there something I'm missing? I know that it is an infinite number, so I tryed all 9's etc... and I've trying Pi. Any help?

It's not about guessing or attempting to calculate the answer, you can get the answer in one go using the method you are expected to use.

It's not calculating the answer, it's locating the number in the first place..., thanks anyway though

I'm stuck here too.
I'm pretty sure I have the right digits, but they keep getting rejected (although the remark about wget irritates me, since I'm not using it… Whatever…)
The searched digits are numbers
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999-1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000099
right?

Hmm, the last reply isnt very old. Is it really working?

At first I tried to get the right digits, but the server wasnt answering my request.

So I tried just to get the first digit... Again neither a response nor a timeout. I also added some information for the server to know the "length" of the response I am waiting for, but that didn't help either...

Could it be a problem to do that challenge right from the browser. Maybe there is a restriction in the length of a header?!
