Ah, alas, for subSilver < AcidTechGreen. I guess the moral of this story don't fix it if it isn't broken. Although, it would be an ironic conclusion to draw from these events given that the initial problem is resultant from something broken.

I had the same problem. My computer would seemingly randomly pop the BSoD. It turned out to be one of my RAM memory modules when bad. If you are still having problems, you could try checking the physical, that is, make sure all your computer components are correctly plugged in, etc.
