Sadly I'm not sure about this point. I've got an idea, but this would mean a huge effort for the solution verifier. My idea until now would look somehow like this: http://s2.directupload.net/images/080310/8fe4492k.jpg To parse the solution one has to combine the corners. So you have to combine corne...

I thought about the puzzle-description. It seem to be a bad idea, to start at P(0;0), because there are forms not fitting in the first quadrant, if they have to include P(0;0). Just think about the sign of Red Cross. Additional to 3) is to say, that I think, all points have to be xeN. Does anyone ha...

Polygon-Puzzle

Ok, I think its good not to spam in the old puzzle-suggestion-forum. The idea behind the puzzle is, that one has to arrange a set of little polygons, so that it fits in one big polygon. The detailed description can do some native-english-speaking one. The questions which have to be answered before w...

Hi, the problem which inspired me is unsolvable. It is the question, whether one can tile "the world" with an infinite amount of a given polygon or not. In my pdf they spoke about "the world", I don't know whether they mean a globe or an infinite rectangle. I doubt that there is ...

I came up with a good idea. The purpose is, to arrange and combine a collection of forms, so they fit into a big form. Lets take, for example, a square. Then we split this square up, so we have got 4 triangels. Afterwards we rotate the triangles randomly. Now we submit the big form (the square) and ...

As you see, I made it to the top 9 with his hint :-D
The errormessage is not that bad, if you know what is has to mean. I just wondered about the 16, but if you know that the numbers have to be hex its really selfexplaining.

Error Messages

Hi, I'm debugging my programm, and at level 69 there is a mistake. Fortunately your Website provides error-messages, unfortunately I dont understand them: illegal pos 16 5 at 21 In the path my prog found there is no illegal position at all. I dont doubt that the path is wrong, but all positions are ...

Ok, i did it... Its Perl, and it is fucking bruteforceing. Its made to show ONE solution, not all, so, if it needs some hours, its not a problem for me. Btw, if it would be more complex, noobs could steel it :-D. If you just want to have a tool which gives you one solution for debugging, feel free t...

Sample Solving Algorhythm

Hi, I was wondering, if you could post a programm like in the other challanges. I wrote 750 lines of perl, but sometimes it wont find a path (currently at level 90...). I mean, thats live, no problem, but, aehm, debugging is extremely hard, if I dont know when it should find a path, and when it is c...

I think, you should give Points not by the place in the toplist but by the level reached.
If someone finds an algorhytm that solves a NP-Problem and is way ahead other competitors, it is maybe a good idea to give him more than 100 Points (or less to the other).

Little suggestion

Hoi, while I am programming my algorhytm for the puzzle, I want to try to find the way by hand, just for fun. For the sake of testing the algorhythm (how to write it...) small levels are more handy, but if I restart the game, I have come to my current level by hand. So could you please enable a opti...
