Internet link reedirection

every time, and yes i mean every single time, i use a search engine when i click on a link im redirected to a diffrent page then the link should of sent me to. it takes me 3-5 trys to get to the page.
i have all the cookies block exept the ones i allow, and i even del those constently. how can i fix this?

strange, have u tried to virus scan your computer?
Or are your search engine just crazy?

Browser? Version? Operating System? Search Engine?

i use ie6 on my xp, and it happens on all search engines i use, google, yahoo, info etc, and my computer is scaned averyday

P.S. After having a look at this:

its not totaly my computer so i cant upgrade, and how can i stop it from happening

Are you able to get to the actual search sites at all?
Could be a host file redirect.

I had the same problem once. It's a virus that causes it (a trojan I think).
Use those two programs.
(Spybot)
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html
(Malwarebytes)
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Together they can take down the most viruses.
If you're an amateure, don't install teatimer (a seperate part of spybot), though. It'll probably just mess things up, when it informs of registrychanges caused of certain applications.
Then the main part of spybot may change your registry in an unwanted way. That's why you should be sure to read every description, of found registry errors.

That probably would have worked but i decide to take the long way by recreating the files i needed and sending them to a new account. then i deleted the old one behind my roomates back. it works fine now. Thanks though.
