hi everyone, i'm new to this site. i find that this bot competition is exciting. i then learned java a week ago so i could write my own code for this competition. but after i submitted, i realized that new players in the "top bots" (ie: Override23, diah, halofan, and myself) got 0 record.

is wormageddon still alive? please anyone reply..

wormageddon is definitely still alive. your bot has now run a bunch of matches, and is doing fairly well for a new entry.

the other entries with 0/0 are because the player submitted an invalid bot.

the bot matches don't run all the time -- generally i only run them when there's a new entry, because otherwise everything is pretty stable and there's not much point. i generally notice the new entry within an hour or two.

congrats on taking 1st place mckev. i want to put some serious time into a new bot soon and give you guys a new challenge.

So... I uploaded a really simple bot and it hasn't been run yet.
Anyone know whether the Wormageddon competition is still operating?
It would be nice to have some kind of timetable posted on the Wormageddon page so I don't have to post in the forum.
