i didn't find anything either, but... remember one thing: very often there's an expression "the answer is"... 3 letters, 6 letters, 2 letters...

that was one of the first things I tried and didn't get anything. I'm gonna take a break from these challenges and work on the games like modulo for awhile

Hmh i first tried to look for ave in google but there is a more easy way to solve that one.
I just tried to guess some words and so i know what letters replace the real letters. Then i could guess other words and so on and at the end i have more letters and could decrypt the whole message.
Hint: My first word i searched for was "answer" cause it was in all crypto puzzles before, its a word with 6 letetrs i think you find it easily. if you have this one you have a good start.
Sorry my english sucks lol* Other easy words are 2 letter one like :is it he ...and so on, three letter: the and she ...and so on, you have to guess and try out:-D

Isn't this use of ROT*?

Smart one.

Wow, this is a smart one. First you figure out the keyword from the sentence, and then leave it to rot.

:D

In fact, the title does give you the necessary hint if you've ever read an introduction text to cryptography. "Ave" is a Latin greeting. Latin was the language of ancient Rome. And it was a Roman Emperor who allegedly came up with a certain (very simple) encryption that was then named after him.

I see I'm not the only fan of the series here, after all! The second movie was the best IMHO.

for anyone who is as braindead as ciphers as me, take the easy way:

look for decryper or deciphering program,

decrypto 8.5 is my fave so far
