First of all, try sending some faked email, and try to find out his password, for example, password checking service, or something else.
Second, try using "forgot password" service, maybe tere you'll find something.
Other ways are advanced, you can use MySQL injection to get a hash, then crack it. You can find vulnerabilities in the server, get an access to it.
If you are going to become a hacker, you can download Backtrack 2 and use tools here. It will help.
