I'm considering doing a startup targetting high finance, and based in London -- anyway I was thinking where I'd find the kind of people I would need to pull it off and I remembered this place so drop me a msg if you might be interested. Would be high performance code (C++ / GPU / highly threaded) plus (a very slick) web GUI. Quant skills also sought. I think its important to be able to physically meet so commutable distance from London only please. This is very early stage, so expect equity not salary.

I love how you believe that you will find elite coders willing to work for free, instead earning a bunch at the nearest business. Also, when you're trying to conquer hobbyists don't limit to a specific zone, you will most likely to get volunteers from far away then close to you, also try showing some results of yours presenting your devotion, no one likes to fuck their times on something which will never get anywhere, or the best thing you can do is pay a lot.

Yeah I would only doing a startup if you are either able to make the product yourself or have a very trusted friend who will dedicate the time to do it.

I'm actually in the process of building one right now! If it gets pulled off, people will be blown away
