if your a windows man/women, avg is my favorite, there is a free one and a pay version both a good, if you want to shell out the cash, its worth it.

ultimate solution go linux or bsd.

I use AVG and can't complain... for me, a lot fewer hassles than Norton's software/anti-virus subscriptions and what-not.
