we don't help people recover passwords for gmail or similar. This is because of the fact that the account might not belong to who you say it does.

Contact gmail staff and they will sort it.

I also have gmail, just tell your brother to click the I cant't access my account link on the login screen at gmail.com this will give you several options for password and username recovery, no hacking required, unless you are trying to get in there without your "brothers" permission in which case you don't belong there.
