How difficult would it be to drop in an image in your bank account to make the balance look larger? desheximal@yahoo.com[/b]

I mean when you go to the bank to withdraw money or use the atm, you could deposit small amounts of money per week building up your account or checking/savings account by editing the account balance. It seems like you could slip a image in mocking a higher balance and mark it as "cash deposit" on the day you had deposited via internet.

You can't place an image into your online statement and make the balance go up. There has to be numbers to count. In other words the bank looks at transaction that have occurred and takes those figures to come up with your balance. Replacing an image you see on your statement won't affect your actual balance. You will still be broke.

I might be wrong but if you only wanna change the number on the website can't you just break yourself into the database? but if you actually wanna make yourself more money it's impossible.

Yeah but if you try to drop an image in place of an existing one to force the balance to change it wont work. An image file is just that it has no value. You would have to alter the database that keep record of the transactions and change the value of a deposit or add a new deposit but to just change the image that you see in an online statement or account details is going to do just that, not cause the value to change in the database. Therefor it may visibly appear different but the value in the database with still be the same unless the data in the database is altered. Of course I've never seen an online account show me an image of my balance its usually text. and even if you used say java injection or something to change the value (if you could) it would only be for the time that you arre viewing that page when you leave the page or refresh it the data would be back to normal.

like a lot of guys have allready said.. you have to hack into the bank's database and change your balance there. Even if you edit an image it will _NOT_ make any change to the banks system when you go to withdraw or even attempt to send funds via online transaction's. I Know a way to send as much money as you want out of your acount into anouther acount without even having the funds in your acount. This works with HSBC / Natwest and Abbey. However when they find out or when BACS go to handle to transaction there is a chance it will be stopped and your acount gets closed so i wouldnt advise this unless you really know what your doing. I would advise you to get into there database to change yours and who ever else you want to change because 9 out of 10 times the bank dont even know you have done it ;) I have seen this done a lot of times and to be honest its easy but its 100% fraud no ifs or buts so just be carefull :P
