Anybody out there has a clue (or a hint) what the answer should look like?
Is it a combination of numbers? Is it a word? Or a formula? Or what?

At first there seems to be a formula for all 12 results depending on the 2 input values.
But this is not true for every input. There are other laws for certain values.
So there is no valid general formula... and there are always numbers, no letters at all.

Puzzled....

I thought, it could be something like a radar (anybody out there sounds like a search for E.T. )
And the twelve numbers could point to different directions like the 12 hours on a watch. But i have no idea, what to do with the two numbers (the connection to the results ??) or what the results will tell me I thought, a radar is directed to something, so why do i need 2 values?

why do you need 2 values ? If you can answer THAT, than you're pretty close to the solution.
On the other hand, don't get to fancy with the hints adum already posted in another topic, except the fact that you really do need a decent sample space, the other hints are more or less well, not helping.

Anyways, this is a really nice challenge with a great idea behind it.
