So I just hauled up an old computer from my basement and it has linux on it.
I'ma see what kinda nifty stuff I can do >:D
Anyone recommend certain linux distros? I was thinking about unbuntu, but I want to know YOUR favorite linux distro

Ok nevermind, it came with KRUD, but whatever... I can install a different distribution if I want

go with gentoo or LFS either way you get the compile you system right from scratch see what is making what run and you get to install only what you need and want. I personally love it after I get an understanding of it and their IRC is very supportive.

i personally like slackware 12.1 the best..but thats me
