Hows about, you worry about your school work and passing school, rather then cracking into the network?

hacker.org's real hackers, will NOT help you "hack" into your school.

Well in a way you can perhaps look for exploits in file directories, network communication, or some other sort of method that you need to look for. But you have to be responsible for your consequences.

Serious answer: Well, most school computers won't let you do shit.

Semi serious answer: Barry, we don't look kindly upon crackers here, please don't help them out by telling them how to be idiots without knowing what the hell they're doing. the last thing the world needs is another skiddie looking to get expelled -.-

Sorry about that.

I thought it perhaps help a person by hinting them to set up a goal and focus on it and eventually learn how things work. Sure they'll need to know that their action have consequences, but I'll be more careful around them by denied them of my knowledge.

If they have worked on what they do and take long daunting task to do what they're doing. But once they complete the task that they could do the damage, but they'll find something else to do that can benefit them in life.

By the way how you exactly define Cracker than Hacker? They're very similar in the way.

There is another group of people who loudly call themselves hackers, but aren't. These are people (mainly adolescent males) who get a kick out of breaking into computers and phreaking the phone system. Real hackers call these people ‘crackers’ and want nothing to do with them. Real hackers mostly think crackers are lazy, irresponsible, and not very bright, and object that being able to break security doesn't make you a hacker any more than being able to hotwire cars makes you an automotive engineer. Unfortunately, many journalists and writers have been fooled into using the word ‘hacker’ to describe crackers; this irritates real hackers no end.

The basic difference is this: hackers build things, crackers break them.

true say.

I would define it short and sweet:

crackers are your classic douchebag, with a little cyberpunk in there. they like breaking things. that's that.

hackers would be the kind who prefer to build upon what's there, and have an (innocent) curiosity and only do things that would benefit them / others.

I thought hacker and cracker are to penetrate the security.
