My Sophomore Chemistry knowledge was all I had(I am in HS). The first thing I generally do when I see a crypto challenge is google the name, and once I was sufficiently convinced it had nothing to do with the band I tried wikipedia's periodic table of elements. (it now uses DS for element 110) Hardest part was getting over the fact that sneakers was spelled with a ck, and figuring out there wasn't a space in between red and sneackers
