@Jen: If something like that happened to me I would run through a malware removal guide on one of the various malware support forums. I'm going to have to do it myself one of these months when I build up the courage to go onto my windows partition :P

yeah. seems to do that when I load up Skype. >.< Probably because it's not fully installed/activated.

strange... didn't used to do that... :/

You did uninstall and reinstall skype already, right? Just to see if that fixes it?
