I believe your thinking of a practice called phishing. Basically, phishers send out mass email telling people they need to log in to their bank, or whatever, to verify something. a link will be in this email that send them to a fake page thats set up to look like a legitimate site. when the unsuspecting user enters their information, the form sends it to the phisher. its not quite hacking, rather tricking someone in to giving you their information.

Isint tricking people to give u ther password a part of black hat. Anyway when you send a virus to a user isint it the users choice wether he/she wants to open it and infect their computer isint that tricking.

it's not the user's choice, since they don't know that they are going to infect their computer. it's not legally their fault if they are never told.

Not quite, They have the choice to ignore all warnings about fishing scams and follow the link on the email, and enter their information in the fake form. There are warning all over the place about phishing scams and if someone ignores them and get scammed then that was their choice. As far as viruses, its a little moredifficult to make an informaed decission. A virus can come from simply opening an email, downloading a seemingly useful piece of software that contains a virus, hell viruses can be loaded simply by enter a web page. The same way spyware is loaded on a person computer without them knowing, a virus can be loaded. Believe me it's different.
