lol, I solved it without seeing anything at all.
I just typed in some sci-fi names which came to my mind.
I still have no clue how this challenge has to be solved programmatically.

As usual for the image challenges, you should probably try inspecting the underlying data rather than just squinting and hoping for the best! Though that does half work in this case.

i have a look at each chunk and each pixel, but i still don't know how to transform the image.
i also made it a little clearer, i don't think i know this guy.

I played a bit with Photoshop and can quite clearly see a portrait of a person, the face angled to the right (from the viewer) and a quite prominent hair-line. Unfortunately, I can barely remember any faces (yes, that is a medical disorder), so I have absolutely no chance of recognizing the person.
Is there another way to solve the puzzle?

I just stretched it and the most embarrassing thing is that I actually needed to Google "guy with _adjective_ _body parts_" to find it. Also, why is this the page directed to from discuss with other solvers?
