Challenge 'Steganographic' HELP....

You'll kick yourself when you discover the answer

This problem doesn't even really require any knowledge of any special algorithm or anything. For what its worth, converting the file to another format may cause the answer to be lost. It just really depends on the converter and the format. You shouldn't need to convert the image at all to get the answer.

I can see some kind of characters, but they don't make a sense to me. Am i right and it is a 3 character word?

No it is not. I think you are looking at the wrong place.

This challenge is really starting to annoy me. I've used steg tools and IrFranview and rotated, sharpened, changed colors, etc of the image but still don't see anything. It seems a few clues have already been given here but if someone would kindly suggest another or private message me if you think the clue is too obvious for the general public on here.

oh man,
i can't find anything in or on or even around this picture... i think i tried everything i can think of for hidden information on this... i even typed "hidden in this image", because it says this was the answer - can anyone give me a real hint - i'm really stuck on this one

The image contains information on different levels. you are probably looking at the wrong one ...

Is it possible to get the answer using paint, or does the answer have something to do with layers of the image?
