Hello, sorry if there is an area to post introductions and I am just missing it.

I am Sram, I am currently a college student and am working on CCNA and CCDA right now. I've been programming on and off since I was 11, and studied network security on and off since I was 13...for those of you who might not know what CCNA and CCDA are..those are Cisco certifications to be a Network Engineer after I get those I would like to get the security certifications, and then possibly get an online Network Security degree from UAT along with the other small various degrees that I will have from just messing around in college.

So basically, I've come here, since I know basically the methods in which systems are hacked (i understand the concept of making exploits, disassembling stuff, all that), to learn more in-depth of why this is done or why that is done, because I figure it will assist me later with my career path. So I will ask newb questions about hacking most likely, but will actually know something about networking and whatnot.

So far I have read Hacking Exposed, Gray Hat Hacking (a good book), and I have Hacking: The Art of Exploitation and Reverse Engineering on the way from Amazon.com. I hear they're both good books as well, and more advanced than the first two I read, so I'm moving up, but hopefully I will be able to find some good guidance here as well.
