I ended up doing one of the puzzles to register, but I tried for a long time to hack the login page.
What I did was I copied the source, pasted it to Notepad, and saved it as an .htm file. I then changed all the relative links to absolute links to ensure that it directed to the correct page (and also so I could have the nice CSS and graphics) and then did as the comment said; I changed it to <input type="submit" name="hackersubmit" value="Submit" class="mainoption" />, and the submit button showed up just like it should. I then filled out the form and hit 'submit' (this is with the file saved locally and open in Firefox) and I was directed to the login.php page where I got a message about invalid completion of the form.
So when I broke down and did the stupid puzzle, I went back to the login page (now with the submit button visible) and checked the source. What the French Toast? It was just like I had it???
Please shed some light.
Oh. I just realized that I think this page is publicly viewable, so we wouldn't want to put the solution here...
Sorry. If anyone feels compelled to PM me, though...
How was I supposed to get in?
