Didn't know that stegsolve is able to detect something like this. What command line did you use?

I used gimp, modifying some color space settings (gamma) :-D

I don't remember exactly - too long ago. I guess I just started the .jar file, loaded the picture, and fiddled around with it until I got something.

Same here... Actually I used Steganabara first, because I ran into it before entering the Stegsolve folder. Somehow I sorted the folder by date... :)

Although its been while, I'll answer the question anyway. In Stegsolve you can choose between red plane 1 and red plane 0. Don't know about any command line way though. Maybe you are referring to some other tool, since you used the word "detect". Maybe you thought of Steghide?!

I was a bit baffled, since it was in the crypto section, the solution was already there. Expected some more crypto... :P
