KDE vs. GNOME: what is ergonomicaly better?
i mean, there are many factors, like frontview, shell, speed, technical factor, comfort factor.
but the real question is who is really most safe? who is really usefull and ergonomic?

thank's for everyone for keeping discussion warm.

i discowered that on linuxtracker.org

slackware have 16 285 downloads.
for comparsion

Gentoo have 6798 dl's
freeBSD have 711 dl's
Ubuntu have 406 dl's
openSUSE have 15 614 dl's
Fedora have 5468 dl's

what you think about those OS's? =)

None is...
First of all, as Zaffron stated: there not really 'programs' but window managers...
Second: they mostly just control the way your windows look, so it's a matter of taste, not of being 'better'. As a matter of fact, both KDE and Gnome are among the more resource-consuming windowmanagers, so if you're looking for pure performance, neither of them is fit (is the latter a correct English construction?).

I f you don't know what to choose, look for screenshots of both, enough can be found using a search-engine.

Except that the comment was directed at you since you asked which "application" is better...

Nice job "user:abcvirus"

Whats the point of saying user: in front of user's names? I think we all know who you are talking about without it. Are you like a bot with horrible grammar and an affinity for emotes?
